Carson Mcarthy, a suicide-planning hobbyist, enlists her sympathetic best friend, Franny in her final suicide plan involving a daring journey through the desert. As things go awry, tensions rise and Carson and Fanny have to face their issues head-on. The journey encompasses two newly 20 year olds navigating the new waters of the reality of adulthood and their appreciation for each other.
About the Director
For Molly Ratermann, directing was not her first venture in the film industry. She bounced back and forth throughout highschool doing college-level filmmaking classes and acting courses at Academy of Art SF and New York Film Academy. Although she is still an actor, she couldn’t help being pulled behind the camera again. ‘Suicide’ was one of her first attempts at directing and she has since directed a web series and two other short films.
