Discussion or Depiction of Self-Harm

In a technologically advanced future where mankind relies on spirits for guidance, Naji Bloom’s tribe is in crisis. When a spirit comes to her the night before the next leader is chosen, it reveals the culprit behind the panic is someone she would never expect. Naji must find faith in the supernatural to make the ultimate sacrifice that will save them all.

About the Director

Janeen Talbott is a ambivert, naturalista, aspiring space-cadet and a returned Peace Corps volunteer. In Ethiopia, the Florida A&M alumna served for two years, mentoring, teaching and evolving. While abroad she was able to peer at the world and deeper into herself from a different vantage-point. It is from that perspective that she intends to develop and tell Afro-futuristic stories that empower, uplift and inspire.
