Cherise Lavah, owner of Hex Design Studio, is originally from Southern California. She lived in Costa Rica, Florida and Pennsylvania before nestling into the arid desert mountains of Salt Lake City, Utah where she currently resides. Although mainly self taught, she officially opened her own design studio in 2020 and has worked with companies around the globe specializing in can and label design. She is well known for her illustrative line art style, which has a textured woodcut quality to it, but has experience in a wide range of graphic styles which include, logo, poster, social media design, traditional painting, photo retouching and photo composites.
The love of art she held as a child continues to fuel her career and passion for graphic design today. Within a year of opening her studio, she was interviewed and featured in AIGA Eye on Design Magazine for her rapid success in the competitive graphic design industry.
