Lauren, a lonely and awkward freshman, struggles to master adulthood due to his habit of overthinking every situation. After moving into a new apartment, he befriends his four peculiar neighbors who teach him simple but valuable life lessons.
About the Director
After winning the Best Directing Award at the Vietnamese National Short Film Festival 2019, Van Doan decided to move to New York City to pursue a Bachelor degree in Film Production. Outside of classes, Van gained hands-on experiences on numerous projects ranging from student films to independent features. “Analysis Paralysis” is a passion project in which Van gets to express her own writing and directing style, which is very much influenced by the poetic French and romantic Korean cinemas.
