About the Director
Lungelo Kuzwayo currently resides in Johannesburg, South Africa where he is a freelance writer/director and also teaches directing at AFDA, South Africa’s leading film school. He has directed eight short narrative films, two short documentary films and a multi-camera TV music program. Lungelo won the Best Director award at the Johannesburg 48-hour Film Festival in 2016. He has also worked as a production assistant for an Emmy Award Winning documentary about Chicago called Dusable to Obama: Chicago’s Black Metropolis.
