Based on true events, Rainbow Fields is set in the Indian state of Assam in the violent period of the 1980’s. Children growing up in violent places, witnessing brutality around them are deeply affected, with an indelible mark on their growth.

About the Director
Born in Assam, Bidyut Kotoky’s father’s profession took his family all over the northeast of India. His debut feature film as writer/ director, As the River Flowsis bi-lingual Hindi & Assamese produced by the National Film Development Corporation (NFDC). His latest feature film deals with the effect of violence on kids growing up in conflict zone.
