‘To Dream’ is a story about friendship, full of hope and intimacy, set against a harsh inner city backdrop. Best friends, Luke and Tommy live in an unforgiving part of London. Having dropped out of school and still living at home, they’re now dreaming about what’s next. Their big plan has always been to escape London’s grime and head for an American paradise. It’s a dream that’s helped them escape the harsh realities of growing up in abusive homes and it’s a dream that cements their friendship. But when dysfunctional family life intensify’s and Luke’s new love interest threatens to come between them, loyalty leads Tommy to make a choice that will change their lives forever.

 

About the Director

Baltimore born, London dweller Nicole Albarelli’s work provides unique insight into imperfect worlds. Over the past 4 years, Nicole has directed several major label music videos; co-written the play ‘The Heap’, winning world praise at the International Theatre Festival in France; wrote, directed and produced short film, ‘Trash’, receiving several international festival nominations for Best Film and most recently completed her debut feature, ‘To Dream’ which she wrote, directed, produced & crowdfunded.
