Animated Film Competition

Natalie Labarre
Natalie Labarre

When an eccentric inventor realizes he’s maybe not a perfect father, he tries to make one.

Natalie Labarre was born and raised the Super’s daughter in a tiny pre-war building in the Yorkville neighborhood of Manhattan. She’s still really good at recycling and signing for packages, but now spends most of her days getting paid to animate things. Natalie received a BFA in Traditional Animation from the School of Visual Arts in 2013 and her graduation film ‘Papa’ has been in film festivals all over, including Anima Mundi (Brazil), Klik! (Netherlands), and SICAF (Korea).
