SHHH borders on the real and imaginary. Guillermo, our young protagonist, puts pen to paper as he obsessively draws what he fears most: a hair-eating monster. In fact, lurking in the shadows of the washroom, the creature is more than a figment of his imagination. Every day, Guillermo must feed the monster his own hair for his safeguarding. A personification of his true bully (his sister Hellena), Guillermo eventually conquers his fear only to realize that his tormentor might not be as fictitious as one may have thought. Inspired by the childhood reveries of director and monster-creator Guillermo del Toro.
