Jason Brown is Associate Professor of Mass Media at Valdosta State University and the Festival Director of the South Georgia Film Festival. His documentary Them That Work was recently included on the Criterion Collection’s disc MATEWAN. He produced the short film Miracle Boy, which premiered at the Venice Film Festival and screened nationwide on the Comcast Film Festival Collective channel.
Jason recently participated in the Television Academy’s Faculty Seminar program in Hollywood, the NATPE Faculty Fellowship in Miami, Florida, and served as a presenter and juror at various regional film festivals in the Southeast.
