When Beth Bowman describes her horrific sleep paralysis episodes, no one believes her. Her twin sister Kate is the biggest skeptic, until an unexplained death and Kate’s own ensuing paralysis quickly begin to convince her otherwise. Dr. Sykes explains it in typical rational-scientific terms: an asthma attack brought on by severe hallucinations. But a disgraced sleep specialist named Hassan tells Kate about The Night Hag — a terrifying entity that paralyzes and kills its sleeping victims. Kate desperately searches for a solution as her friends and family all become targets. Will they figure out how to defeat The Hag before it kills them all?

About the Director
Austin-based director Phillip Guzman was born in south Texas, but spent his formative years growing up in Europe, giving him a unique perspective on the world and cinema for an American. He most recently directed ‘Dead Awake’, the highly anticipated sleep paralysis thriller from writer Jeffrey Reddick (‘Final Destination’). His next feature ‘200 Hours’, a paranormal horror set in the 80s, is currently in post-production.
