A climate change catastrophe will look a lot like war. Before the ice caps melt, before the jetstream changes course, long before sea levels take Manhattan, we humans will erode what’s civil between us. Where were you born? Who are your parents? The answers will be the largest determiner of your worth. We will find value in the lives of some and others not. History that’s been sanitized or forgotten will obscure its cautionary tale and our demand for simple answers will be obliged. It is difficult to imagine such destruction made by our own hand…so we will imagine something else. Climate change is about a change in us, a change in what we’re willing to accept. It is a shift in how we treat each other and how we justify the things we want. On September 21 2014, 400,000 people crowded New York City to demand a stop to the momentum behind this human disaster. The largest climate change protest in history is a sign that we can make a difference. In this music video the legendary Brenton Wood joins the Americana duo William Pilgrim for a remake the 1967 classic, Gimme Little Sign, filmed during this historic event.
About the Director
PM Romero is a dichotomy, a savant, and an enigma with a 10,000 foot view of the world. His focus on social activism and awareness will benefit future generations. But make no mistake, his production company, Live Ice House, is his ship on the sea. Scott Montgomery is a mix of eastern work ethic and blind romantic optimism. He creatively captures what people think on film. Live Ice House has been a dream project, an art forum & social activism bullhorn for both that will hopefully tickle your brain and move you to dance.
