Susan Wagner is President of Boardwalk Entertainment, an independent development and production company founded by her late father, respected industry veteran Alan Wagner, that she runs with her sister Elizabeth. Her credits include series and movies for CBS, NBC, ABC, HBO, USA Network, Lifetime and syndication. The company is developing TV and feature projects, with current focus on a period drama series for international distribution and a drama feature by a Nicholl Fellowship-winning writer.
Separately Susan supervised post-production on the 2017 feature film “Drawing Home.” Susan is a past member of the Board and Executive Committee of New York Women in Film & Television (NYWIFT), and is committee chair for the their popular Power Player Breakfast series. For several years she was on the selection committee for NYWIFT’s “To the Point” short films program at the Hamptons International Film Festival, and she has served numerous times as a judge for the Jewish Women’s Film Festival, most recently in 2018. She also spent over a decade as a board member of the NY branch of the British Academy of Film & Television Arts and served as that organization’s Membership Director. She is a long-time voting member of BAFTA and has been a part of its very busy Screening Committee since its inception.
