Stafford Chavis was born in Brooklyn NY and grew up in Queens, where he attended Bayside H.S.. He enjoyed a great track and football career and earned a full ride in track to Temple University where he majored in Criminal Justice. During a break in his studies, he attended NFL’s College Combine and was selected to NFL Phil Eagles,where he enjoyed a brief but effective career.
After football, Stafford joined the NYC Police Department, and soon was elevated to Detective. After retiring with sixteen years due to injury suffered during the September 11th terror attacks, Stafford then pursued his long time passion of entertainment.
