Roland Rojas is the co-founder of BidSlate®, a digital platform poised to revolutionize the process of transacting global media rights and distribution for buyers and sellers. With decades of experience in domestic and international finance, as well as a strong background in film production and financing, Rojas currently oversees the day-to-day operations of the recently launched service.
Rojas’ expertise spans 23 years in the financial sector from Institutional Equity Sales to Investment Banking focused on Asian markets. Serving high profile global hedge, mutual and pension funds in North America, Rojas has previously been affiliated with several well-known investment banks, most recently, one of the largest banks in South East Asia, Maybank Kim Eng Securities. Also an expert in sourcing capital raising opportunities between private equity and publically listed companies, Rojas achieved unique access to companies seeking funding, primarily in the powerful economies of India and China.
Rojas, who also grew up with fascination for film, co-founded the production company “Hand in Hand Entertainment”. Utilizing his wide-ranging experience in the financial sector, Rojas advised and delivered financing for independent film projects extending to foreign distribution contracts.
He received his Master’s Degree in Bio-Psychology from Hunter College, CUNY in New York City, as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology (minors in Pre-Med plus British Literature). With a multi-disciplinary approach to both academia and career, Rojas has also been published in the prestigious journal, “Brain, Behavior and Evolution.”
