Industry legend Phyllis Bishop, is the new Director of Development and Publicity for the Winter Film Awards. Her career started with the Audrey Hepburn film, Wait Until Dark at WB. She is an Indie Film Publicist, representing films at Film Festivals and on successful Oscar® and Hollywood Foreign Press (Golden Globes®) campaigns. She currently works with distributor Passion River Films. Also active in TV, she is Chair of Events for the membership of NYEMMYS.ORG and was the 2016 and 2017 NY Emmy® Awards Gala, Operations Manager.
