James Hennigan is from Laurel, Maryland. He grew up with a love for reading, especially anything spooky. He would immerse himself in classic horror films, as well as smaller known films in the genre and started writing screenplays at the age of thirteen. He received an English degree from the University of Maryland, College Park and afterwards participated in several community theatre productions before getting involved in independent filmmaking. When he’s not creating characters and stories of the macabre, he is either working for a library or school or hanging out with friends and family.
