Indistry TV’s James Andrew Sands is an audience-driven digital video executive with a proven track record of developing content around all major media platforms. Content creator, brand builder, strategic marketer, respected leader and experienced manager of large production teams, James is an active, hands-on consultant helping to shape, market and promote events, causes, products and stories that drive audience growth, participation, and business development through AR/VR social/user-driven mobile, digital and experiential multi-screen content. James is at his absolute best when collaborating with other passionate creatives.
He began his career as Founder and Executive Creative Director of his own Production Company, SPITZFLIX Productions Inc. in New York City. James has been an Executive Producer, Producer and Creative Marketing Director for branded, editorial, fashion, original programming, lifestyle/entertainment, commercial and corporate client projects alike. Projects included work for; Architectural Digest, BMW, Cartier, Details, KitchenAid, MINI, Travel Channel and WWD.
James joined Celebrity Page TV as an Executive Producer and Senior Director, Brand Partnerships and Promotions for the Southeast region of the United States – from Washington D.C. to Miami. A nationally syndicated all entertainment and celebrity news broadcast television show, where he produced several high-profile, national gala award shows and events.
Most recently James has been tapped as the Chief Content Officer for INDISTRY TV. A hybrid digital platform that combines original content, shopping, and social – geared specifically to a millennial demographic. In this key role, James is responsible for curating the entire content library of film and television series, negotiating and securing acquisition partnership agreements and distribution deals, and is overseeing all in-house and outsourced productions of original programming on the platform as well.
A New York University graduate where he studied Producing For Film and Television Broadcasting, James also graduated from the Digital Film Academy where he studied Digital Filmmaking.
