Chioneso Bakr-Bond is a songwriter, composer, dancer, and musician from Brooklyn, New York. With her strong Sierra Leonean roots and her multi-media background, Chioneso
has taken the world by storm with her music, dance, and she is now entering in the film industry. She has received a National Young Arts Award for West African Dance, a Planet Connections theater award for her performance in off-Broadway play, Trafficked, and obtained her Bachelor’s in acting and directing from Adelphi University. She continued to work in movement direction for music videos and short films, working with heavy hitters like Spike Lee, Rihanna, Ron Browz and many more.
Currently, Chioneso is a mom of 2, working on a new Netflix drama with Jason Bateman. In addition, she is recording her first full length album, self titled “Chioneso” with anticipation to be released in 2025. Chio is the epitome of the marriage of vision and hard work, a real multi-hyphenate.
