Amber Corbett, Miss Intercontinental USA

Red Carpet Interviews

Trailblazing paths and breaking barriers, 24-year-old Miss Amber Corbett is the first African-American woman to be crowned “Miss Intercontinental USA”. She has been brilliantly and gracefully utilizing her amplified microphone to inspire women and girls who look like her and everyone who can see themselves in her.

Corbett is a Marketing Coordinator in Ad Sales at NBCUniversal Peacock and Scripted Development Division. She is a driven marketing professional with a passion for creating cultural diversity and acceptance in the workplace. Independently, Corbett has established a support resource for young women entitled, “She’s Represented” to help others navigate anxiety in the workplace. This platform will serve as a space for women of color in corporate America to network, find support, and decompress. She believes in the power and importance of diversity across all platforms.

“I am honored to represent the USA and be the first African-American woman to do so for such an important organization. It is essential for all girls and women, especially those who look like me, to see themselves and know that possibilities are limitless,” states Corbett.

A two-time recipient of President Obama’s Volunteer Service Award, she has worked closely with several non-profit organizations: the Andrus Foundation, providing a sanctuary for children to prevent and overcome the effect of childhood adversity, and the People Connect Foundation, to create opportunities for underprivileged youth to travel beyond their borders.

Corbett earned her Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Pace University (Cum Laude) in Advertising and Integrated Marketing Communications, with a minor in Digital Marketing. Corbett holds the honor of being A Forbes 30 Under 30 2019 Scholar.
