About the Director

Kateryna Kurganska is a Ukrainian-American filmmaker based in Los Angeles, with roots in Eastern Ukraine. She holds an MFA in Film and Television Production from USC’s School of Cinematic Arts. Her work has earned recognition at the Hawai’i International Film Festival, St. Louis Film Festival, Catalyst Story Institute, Austin Film Festival Screenplay Competition, AmPav at the Cannes Film Festival, and others. Kateryna is a Student DGA Award winner and a College Television Awards nominee.
