About the Director
JaMar Jones, who grew up in West Baltimore and graduated from an HBCU, started his career in filmmaking with a desire to bring attention to systemic issues. He worked initially as a cinematographer, and his love for film led him to collaborate with major companies such as Disney, ESPN, and HBO. Today, he has taken up the role of a director to continue his mission of creating human-interest films.
