About the Director
Shaleece is an Emmy Award-winning documentary producer and a director based in Los Angeles. Her directing credits include REAL BOY (2016; Independent Lens); and TO THE FUTURE, WITH LOVE (2021; POV Shorts). Recently, she was on the producing teams of FOOD AND COUNTRY (Sundance, 2023); DELIKADO (Hot Docs, 2022; POV); LOUDMOUTH (Tribeca, 2022); and ASIAN AMERICANS (PBS; 2020 Peabody Award). TEXAS STRONG, a short doc she produced in 2018, won an Emmy Award for Short Documentary and premiered at SXSW
