About the Director

Kaye Spann is a new filmmaker and schoolteacher whose story telling career began in 2014 at the American Black Film Festival where he pitched to Robert Townsend during a Pitch Contest and won. That vote of confidence by such a respected icon in the field confirmed that filmmaking is his calling. Kaye possesses a strong passion in telling stories through the art of film. He studied at the New York Film Academy and has written screenplays, television scripts and also acted in films and plays.
