In the music video for their song about the character Icarus from Greek Mythology, this Portland, OR-based band opted to have some fun visually interpreting a more contemporary “flying story gone wrong” – that of cult hero Lawn Chair Larry. The result aims to celebrate the dreamer mentality and what is unorthodoxly possible, while also loosely suggesting “don’t try this at home”.
About the Director
Jonas & Co is a multifaceted live action / animation production company founded by three-time Emmy winning team of producer Hema Mulchandani and director Jonas Morganstein. In addition to their work in advertising, they have produced a short film raising awareness for the Malala Fund, co-founded SONY’s Picture This Festival For The Planet, and worked closely with Team Oprah creating content for her live show.
