The film is about Elva, a young police officer that goes to work with the police in Vestmannaeyjar. There she meets some difficult and heavy cases, especially one case that affected her whole life, but she did not realize it until many years later. At that time there was no trauma informed care in the police, the life just went on and she had to do that too.
About the Director
Signy Ros is 20 years old and graduated from The Icelandic Film School in May 2019. Her final project was the film “The Ocean’s Choice” In 2018, she made a documentary about the experience of parents of boys who experienced childhood sexual abuse. She has made a commercial and worked on a few short movies. She is now working at the National Television station, RUV, where she is working on producing shows for children. She is also a soccer player.
