An international team are on a mission to complete the first circumnavigation of the South Atlantic by an unmanned underwater robot. They aim to make history by testing the limits of the robot’s technology, and replicating the routes of the first global oceanographic expedition by the HMS Challenger.

About the Director
Lizette Gesuden is a documentary filmmaker who enjoys collaborating with people outside of the filmmaking world to tell true stories that inspire and communicate ideas with integrity. Her work includes ‘PBS Nature: My Bionic Pet’ and ‘Blitzkrieg Sharks’ for NatGeo Wild. She aspires to continue finding and telling true stories all over the world, and hopes her work will continue to take her to the sea.
