Sal has been wanting to come to the Big Apple since he was young and he finally makes his way here! Sadly, its the same day as the Zombie Apocalypse. Now with the help of a badass jogger with an axe, Sal must survive the deadly hordes to live another day! Created for the 2016 Winter Film Awards 48-Hour Film Challenge.
About the Director
Nicholas Ortiz was born in the Lower East Side and raised in the Bronx. Movies were of Nicholas’ interest from a very young age, he found himself drawn to strong archetypal heroes like Indiana Jones and Luke Skywalker. By the time he reached high school, Nicholas had decided to become a filmmaker, however it wouldn’t be until 2009 that he truly threw himself into the world of Cinema. Since then Nicholas has completed well over 100 film/video projects to date.
