We meet Bobby Tierney, NYC Homicide Detective, at a low point in his life. He’s recently lost his mother and his home life has taken a backseat to his job. Obviously it’s a brutal world he works in – a city that is mad and demented – and he’s drowning in the human suffering that surrounds him. Twenty years of working in the police force has left him wounded, tormented and seeking salvation in something. The lines start to blur between right and wrong, good and evil and justice and revenge. The film explores themes of sin, guilt, atonement, and salvation.
