Love takes many forms, no matter how uncomfortable that makes your friends and family. ‘Use Me Up’ is a nice family film about an interracial Dom/Sub relationship. The film was inspired by the Bill Withers’ song, ‘Use Me’ and was shot in 2012 in Los Angeles with an all-female crew from the female gaze.

About the Director

After receiving her MFA, Dawn Alden moved to Chicago, where she worked as a professional stage actress with a number of award-winning and critically acclaimed theater companies. While in Chicago, she founded her own theater company, Babes With Blades, the first all-female stage combat theater company in the country. Dawn currently lives in Los Angeles and continues to act, write, fight, and create work for talented women.
