Clay-Motion, Stash House Stick-Ups, West Baltimore, and fluffy pancakes. The Hopper is not your average clay-animation story. 16 year-old Dexter lives with his grandmother in West Baltimore, Maryland. One night Dexter and his friend Kevin rob local drug dealers, but things do not work out as planned and violence spins out of control.
About the Director
Alex Brüel Flagstad started his film career working at Nordic Film Studios in Lyngby. In 2001, Alex entered the Danish Media School, studying photography and manuscript-writing. Alex directed and filmed several short features and music videos. Alex has been making music videos, cinema and tv spots as well as short films in clay, writing, developing, animating and filming his material under the artist synonym Porkfish.
