When a woman meets her boyfriend for a romantic night out, a martini triggers childhood memories that threaten her ability to trust and love. Based on true events and a poem; narrated by Julianne Moore.
About the Director
“Happy Hour” is Gretl Claggett’s first film, based on a poem from her award-winning book “Monsoon Solo.” She recently wrote and directed Sony’s first-ever 4K 360° cinematic music video, which premiered at the 2015 Consumer Electronics Show and will be featured this spring at SXSW. A former actress, Gretl holds MFAs in poetry, creative nonfiction and acting, respectively from Sarah Lawrence College, Goucher College and WIU. She’s now working on a novel and a featurette called “The Storm Chaser.”
