Completing a grant proposal is not as difficult as one may think. This class will demystify and help you with the mechanics of writing an effective proposal. However, successful grant writing is more than just writing the proposal. You will also learn tips for increasing your chances of success — such as how to approach funders, following up, etc.

About The Speakers
Paul Marengo
Paul Marengo has 25 years in the area of festival management including managing the Asian Pacific American Film Festival and DC Shorts. Paul has been the Director of Development for the DC Independent Film Festival and the Grant Writer for the Washington Area Lawyers for the Arts. His experience includes volunteer and theater management for various festivals including the Washington Jewish Film Festival, the Double Exposure Film Festival, and the DC Underground Film Festival.
