Thank for you for your interest in helping out the Winter Film Festival! This year’s Festival runs February 19-23 2025 in New York City with a jam-packed schedule of screenings, discussion panels, networking events and after-parties.
The Festival is an all-volunteer team and would not exist without our amazing army of people willing to help out, and we absolutely appreciate your time and support! We will have a Volunteers Meeting on February 10 at 8-9PM via Google Hangouts. We will email final shift assignments by February 10.
What Sort of Help is Needed?
THEATER TEAM
Sell tickets, usher, hand out flyers, greet attendees, check in VIPs and Press, run microphone during Education and Q&A sessions and take lots of photos
PARTY TEAM You must be 21+
Setup, Check in filmmakers and press at the door, Step & Repeat traffic managers, Press Area traffic managers, Security, Cleanup, Awards Managers (Awards Ceremony)
TECH TEAM
Lighting design, LiveStream, Cameras, Sound Design. Production assistants will be running the show, directing winners, organizing awards/prizes, organizing the talent, working on the livestream/video switching, etc.
MARKETING & OUTREACH
Interview filmmakers for written articles, write film summaries for press releases, promotion, social media.
