Winter Film Awards invites you to join us for the closing event of our Third Annual Independent Film Festival!

The Ceremony and After Party will be held in the Empire Room at renowned rooftop lounge and event space, 230 Fifth (230 Fifth Avenue at E27th Street). There is no cover for this event.

The night’s festivities kick off at 8pm, with a Pecan Bourbon Whiskey Tasting from our friends at William Wolf accompanied by complimentary cupcakes from Cupcake Cartel NYC.

The Awards Ceremony begins at 8:45pm. We are giving out awards to our best and brightest filmmakers, many of whom are traveling from countries all over the world in order to join us. This year’s Winter Film Awards Ceremony includes live musical performances and is sure to be an exciting event. We have a stellar line up, featuring a talented range of  NYC-based performers and headed by our host for the evening- stand up Comedian, Zach Garner. We are happy to announce that this event will be recorded and streamed live to the web via our partner Worldcast, Inc. The ceremony ends shortly after 10, and that marks the beginning of the WFA After-Party.  The superb stylings of the ever-talented DJ Soleil J will keep the celebration going into the wee hours.

So, to recap- our filmmakers are AWESOME, our event is FREE, our performers are FUN, and our DJ is a hot blonde. What more could an indie film fanatic or party goer ask for? Oh wait, I know……….. Whiskey and Cupcakes!
