What does depression FEEL like? Dark Light is a cinematic response to that question: it is an experimental short film, a personal-narrative-documentary hybrid that attempts to convey the experiential nature of depression and help foster empathy for those who struggle with the disease. Depression is a biological flaw, not a character flaw. And yet the stigma that surrounds it prevents many suffers from seeking help, leading to increased suicides every year. Please help fight the stigma.
