Winter Film Awards is delighted to partner with The FilmShop for our 4th Annual Indie Film Festival!
The 4th Annual WINTER FILM AWARDS Independent Film Festival runs Feb 25-28 2015 with 3 days of screenings, networking events and after-parties. The event offers something for everyone, highlighting the dynamic range of storytelling the independent filmmaking community has to offer. Among the 75 films selected is a diverse mix of documentaries, shorts, features, animation, music videos and horror films from all over the world!
About The Film Shop
The FilmShop is a nonprofit film collective based in New York City. We are a close-knit community of independent filmmakers and media producers dedicated to the creation of new work through collaboration and collective development.
The workshop is our anchor program. Members meet weekly for a 16-week season in the spring and in the fall. At each meeting, up to two members present a work in progress for feedback from the group. The process is moderated to help the presenter get the most out of the experience, and the discussion is always stimulating.
Membership is by application, and we strive to bring together a diverse group of working filmmakers with vision, experience, and a collaborative spirit.
