Laura Berning has been in the film/television orbit in New York for almost 25 years—working mostly in the world of locations scouting and management on projects for directors like Robert Redford, Steven Spielberg, Alfonso Cuaron, Steve McQueen, Nancy Meyers, and more. She is currently a senior manager at the Governor’s Office of Motion Picture Development, where she facilitates filming throughout the state of New York and helps filmmakers find great locations.
