Dorottya Máthé is a New York based Producer from Hungary with over 25+ film credits in her extensive portfolio, including narratives and documentaries. Serving as the orchestrator of all production aspects, from inception to distribution, Dorottya takes a hands-on approach and thrives in the culturally eclectic landscape of New York.
Her credits include GOOD EGG, a female driven adventure-comedy sparking thought-provoking conversations about women’s courageous journeys behind their reproductive choices; SHOULD WE KID OR NOT?, an interview-based insightful documentary web series commissioned by PBS; IMPOSSIBLE MONSTERS, a psychological thriller starring Tony Award Winner Santino Fontana; THE INDEPENDENTS, a fictional folk ’n roll fable featuring cameo roles by Richard Kind and Tony Award Winner Kelli O’Hara.
Currently in development, Dorottya is working on RABBIT, a captivating horror/fantasy tale exploring the intricate dynamics between a mother and son.
For more than a decade, Dorottya has been sharing her expertise in education, serving as a Producing Instructor for the Documentary Faculty at the New York Film Academy and as a guest lecturer at BMCC, mentoring emerging international filmmakers. Additionally, Dorottya is an active member of Women Independent Producers, a global network dedicated to supporting and fostering the success of female producers.
