Three people navigate their lives with resourcefulness and determination in the face of Parkinson’s disease. An optician pursues deep brain stimulation surgery; a mother raising a pre-teen daughter becomes a boxing coach and an advocate for exercise; and a cartoonist contemplates how he will continue to draw as his motor control declines.

About the Director
Anna Moot-Levin and Laura Green are award-winning documentary filmmakers with a focus on telling stories about health and healthcare. Their debut feature documentary, ‘The Providers’, premiered at the 2018 Full Frame Film Festival and aired on PBS’s Independent Lens in 2019. They are currently directing ‘Matter of Mind’, a 3-film series about people living with neurodegenerative diseases. Anna is based in Brooklyn, and Laura is based in San Francisco.
