‘Hold you down’ is a poetic short film that explores the theme of grief through the expressive art of dance. Through graceful movements and powerful choreography, the dancers embody the deep emotions associated with mourning, allowing their bodies to express what words cannot.
About the Director
Jean-Charles Charavin is a 31-year-old French director based in Paris. Cutting his teeth in the world of music videos, he has, over the past years, collaborated with French and international artists on over 80 video projects. Venturing into different realms such as fashion and narrative work, his style is distinguished by a highly visual and mastered approach in each of his films, while giving particular importance to storytelling and the emotion of his characters.
