Ida Theresa Myklebost is the Co-Director / Program Director of the Anchorage International Film Festival. AIFF is the largest film festival in Alaska, celebrating its 21st edition this year – and we are beyond excited! Ida is a Norwegian-American journalist, working for national TV news programs in Norway. She debuted her first film in 2017, the award-winning short documentary “Unwelcome” which has screened at over 30 film festivals around the world, as well as the Nobel Peace Center in Oslo. Ida has also served as a programmer and screener for AFI and Portland Film Festival, and in 2019 established the OsLove Film Festival together with John Gamache in Norway.
Ida enjoys hiking and has a cat named Megatron Kitten-Cuddles <3
