About the Director
Brian Blum’s career began at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts where he received a BFA in Film & Television. His thesis, “Blood and Water”, made the BAFTA shortlist in 2018 after premiering at the Miami Film Festival, where he now serves on the programming committee. Brian is the Executive Director and Head of Production of AdaptLab Filmmakers, a production company based out of Brooklyn that helps employees with intellectual disabilities forge paths towards successful careers in the film industry.
