Winter Film Awards proudly unveils 2019 International Film Festival Official Artwork

New York, NY (01/15/2019):  Work by Design Corps, Pratt Institute student Sarah Kim, BFA Communications Design ’19, was selected by a jury to represent Winter Film Awards’ 2019 International Film Festival.

The 8th Annual Winter Film Awards International Film Festival runs February 14-23 2019, and showcases films from emerging filmmakers from around the world in all genres, with a special emphasis on highlighting the work of women and under-represented filmmakers. The 89 Official Selections are a diverse mixture of 13 Animated films, 13 Documentaries, 10 Feature narratives, 9 Horror films, 9 Music Videos, 25 Narrative shorts and 7 Web series. These include 16 student films and 34 first-time filmmakers. Filmmakers come from 32 countries; 50% of the films were created by women, 53% were created by or about people of color.
