A socially deprived international student, living in New York City, finds herself isolated from the world. She finds comfort in visiting apartments with rooms for rent, but a compulsive kleptomania disorder threatens her chances of being normal. It takes the unexpected and random act of kindness by a stranger to remind her another way of living may exist.

About the Director

Jiyeon Song is a Korean-born filmmaker based in New York City. She received an MFA in Film from School of Visual Art in 2012. She earned a BFA in Visual Design at Chung-ang University in 2006. Her work includes producing, writing and directing, as well as production design. Her highly recognized film is THIRST by the most acclaimed Korean director, Chan-wook Park. Most recently, her recent film, BUBBLE GIRL has been screening in festival circuit 2013.
