Julia Walter, born in East Germany in 1984, grew up in Hamburg. Before she got accepted at Munich film school she did internships at film production companies, studied literature and philosophy and was working as an assistant director. With “Martha and Karl” she won the “Blaue Blume Award” for the best romantic Short in 2013. “Job Interview” is her second short film at film school and was ranked among the top three finalists at the prestigious German “Shocking Shorts Award”.
